Macro photography changed the way I see the world.

When I first discovered macro 10 years ago, I felt like a whole new world had opened up for me.

It allowed me to slow down and truly see and appreciate the beauty that is around me every single minute of every single day. In fact, these days I can spot interesting details to photograph all around me, without even having to leave my home!

But my first macro photos were less than impressive. (I truly did think my macro lens must be broken because it didn’t seem to get the tack sharp macro images I wanted!)

There ARE some special considerations for macro (as your exposure settings, your focusing techniques and use of lighting is all different) but the good news is, once you learn these simple tweaks, macro becomes a heck of a lot easier, and you’ll get much better results.

I created Everyday Macro Magic to give you literally EVERYTHING you need from inspiration to edit, so you can take gorgeous, show-stopping macro images with ease!

Go behind the scenes and learn the shooting, lighting and editing techniques for capturing awe-inspiring macro photos, and start finding the beauty around you everyday!

Everyday Macro Magic combines core video trainings with unique “macro missions” and editing videos, to give you everything you need to nail the nuances of macro, and create those WOW shots.

We’ll dive deep into the universal principles of macro, such as focus, depth of field and lighting, so you can learn to shoot any subject you imagine, from flowers to food. Then you can get inspired with our macro missions: step by step guides that give you specific shooting techniques to try, along with pullbacks and examples, so you’ve got plenty of ideas and inspiration to get out there and experiment with macro!

Finally, we’ll wrap up with some editing techniques that will allow you to add extra flair and polish to your macro creations.

And as our goal is “everyday” macro, nothing needs specialised equipment like focusing rails or artificial lighting (but you’ll need a macro lens, filter or extension tubes!) so you can start to photograph beautiful macro photos of the world around you TODAY!
