8 Week Visdev 2 Advanced Class (no feedback) – Zac Retz

This is an advanced class, a good understanding of painting in photoshop and fundamentals is recommended before taking this class. (You can watch my “intro to photoshop and values” class if you want to brush up on the basics.) In this class we will go over what it’s like to work as a visdev artist, lessons reflect the tasks you will be asked to do if you are working on a movie. Perfect class for building a portfolio and getting ready for your first job in the animation industry.

Each week there will be a lesson, demo, and I will give homework that allows you to practice topics and build on what we have learned. You can watch others HW feedback.

• W6- 3D techniques / paint over 3D / block outs (no prior 3D knowledge needed)

• W8- Prop / Texture design / packeting for animation / industry tips / making it in the industry / business side
