Unreal Engine Film School – David Stapp
Have you ever wanted to make your Unreal Engine cinematics feel more… “cinematic”? Then you’re in the right place! This course will teach you fundamental filmmaking techniques that are used on movies and tv shows and how to apply those techniques inside of Unreal Engine 5.
Everything from how cameras and lenses work to how to light your subject with 3 point lighting. And at the end of the lesson, we will demonstrate how to apply these techniques by creating a cinematic inside Unreal Engine from scratch.
- This is not a beginner course. You should already have a basic understanding of Unreal Engine.
- The course videos and Unreal Engine project file were created using a Windows PC. This course is not made for MAC users.
- The Unreal Engine project file that is provided with this course was originally made in UE 5.5. We have tested this project file in UE 5.6 and everything seems to be working properly, but be aware that you could run into some compatibility issues.
- You will also need to make sure you have the “Metahuman” plugin installed for your engine version.
