Color Connections: Color Theory For Beginners Information
Color Connections: Color Theory For Beginners is a course designed to demystify color theory and help you create vibrant, expressive art.
Color is all around us–in nature, in our homes, in our art. But it can seem like a mystery how to start with the base colors in your tubes of paint and end up with the rich color expressions seen in the world around you. This course unlocks the secrets of how colors relate and interact, enabling you to craft vibrant images with ease.
In these 24 video lessons, I will teach you the relationships between colors and how we interact with them. I make complex color theory simple and approachable for learners of all ages! While this course is meant to be completed primarily in a homeschool setting with a parent and a few students, many parents have taken my courses for their own learning, too. Students from elementary to high school will have no trouble understanding and following my art lessons, and you might find that learners as young as 4 or 5 can join the adventure as well!
This course takes big concepts and ideas and delivers them in bite-sized portions so you and your students can get right into the hands-on application.
