Fashion Illustration: How to Render Jewels InformationFashion Illustration: How to Render Jewels is designed to enhance your skills in marker rendering specifically for fashion jewelry.
Welcome to Fashion Illustration: How to Render Jewels! If you’ve already had some experience drawing fashion with brush markers and are looking to take your jewel rendering skills to the next level, this is the perfect place to begin!
This class was designed as an add on to my existing Fashion Illustration with Marker Rendering for Beginners course, but even if you haven’t taken my foundations class yet, you can still learn a lot and level up your marker skills!
In this class we’ll go over our materials and basic marker rendering techniques used throughout the lessons in case you need a refresher or are learning for the first time. I’ll review the included reference guide and we’ll complete the basic jewel drawing worksheet together.
From there, I’ll lead you through how I render various jewel shapes, including a bonus pearl demo, and the best way to illustrate different types of chain. We’ll then combine everything we’ve learned and create two fully realized jewelry illustrations from start to finish. I’ll break down the components of each project so you can follow along step by step and build the skills needed to create a dynamic finished illustration.
In the end, you’ll have two completed jewel illustrations along with the confidence to keep practicing and working towards developing your own illustration style!
