Fashion sketching with markers for beginners InformationFashion Sketching with Markers for Beginners by Olga Sorokina is a video course designed to teach you how to draw like a fashion designer, specifically focusing on using markers for fashion sketching.
Video course in which you will learn how to draw like a fashion designer
MATERIALS FOR THIS COURSE:
In two words: you will need markers, marker parer, a pencil (HB or 2B), an eraser, black liner, white ink jel pen, white pastel pencil.
Black liner (0.3 or 0.5 thickness, it can be liner from TOUCH, Molotow, Faber Castell, Copic or any brand you like)
For white ink jel pen you can use any brand you’ll find (for ex Jelly roll)
For white pastel pencil you can use any brand you’ll find (for ex Caran’d’ache)
Marker parer: it can be a sketchbook or marker PAD A4 or A3 format. You can use regular A4 printer paper, but I recommend using marker paper since it will save your marker colours and they will look more brilliant.
The most important marker colours in this course are two shades of beige (one lighter for skin tone and the other darker for the shadows.) Think foundation and bronzer here.
Plus, you will need 1-2 grey markers (light grey like NG2 and NG4 fom Copic). We will use them for garment shadows.
And finally, you will need a couple of bright and “strong” colours like chocolate and black, pink and red. We will use these colours for garment, hair and details.
