Flower Drawing & Watercolor Masterclass 2 – Kris Lauren

Covering everything you’ll need to confidently draw & paint watercolor flowers digitally.

STEP 1: PRACTICE

We’ll begin with petal guides using painting techniques designed to teach you how to get the most out of your brushes.

STEP 2: SKETCH

Using our guides, we’ll start to map out our flowers, using multiple reference photos to create a working rough sketch.

STEP 3: LINE ART

From our rough sketch, we’ll create a lovely piece of line art that can be used on it’s own and to be the start of our painted piece.

STEP 4: PAINT

Using our line art to guide the way, we’ll use our canvas, swatches and watercolor brushes to create stunning realistic watercolor paintings.

STEP 5: RETAIN TEXTURE

We’ll take all of our paintings and remove the backgrounds all while keeping the texture of the watercolor paper on the painted flowers, allowing you to use your paintings for various projects.

STEP 6: APPLY

We’ll use our magnolia painting, line art and bonus glitter texture to create multiple compositions for invitations.
