About Lady Tori

Hi! I’m Tori and I am a Child & Family Photographer in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. I am a very blessed mum of two beautiful children, a wife to be and a cat mum! I love my camera, I love taking pictures of my kids as they are growing far too fast for my liking and most of all I love being able to capture memories of other people’s family and their story.

Photography wise, I am very proud to say that I am completely self taught. I started off photographing still life, flowers, waterdrops, etc. Then someone suggested that I take pictures of people, and I did! I fell inlove with how happy I made people when they saw their pictures. That’s how it all began. I have been in the practice for around 9 years now and have developed my own style after much trial and error. You will notice that most of my photography is natural rather than posed. I am all about the natural.

Natural expressions, gestures and true emotions. I believe the most important memory is looking back and seeing the way you were as a family, the love you showed each other, the laughter, the hugs, the kisses. Cuddling your kids, the expressions of being content along with big smiles. Holding your baby’s hand as they are still so wobbly when walking but they soldier on with big grins on their faces… this what I capture; the moment. If you’re not a fan of having your photo taken, it’s ok, you don’t have to look at the camera because I want to capture you all in the most natural way possible, doing your thing and just being you.
