LinkedIn for Designers 2.0 InformationMost designers don’t know how to use social media to its full potential.
I was one of them. I would:
👀 Ogle at design eye-candy on Instagram
❤️ Scroll and like passively
🥴 Get distracted by random memes while scrolling
🤐 Never post anything
But then I realized something:
In the internet age, getting people to know, like, and trust you via social media is the most powerful form of leverage for a designer.
Building an audience on social media can lead to new job opportunities, new clients, speaking opportunities, and a deeper connection with the professional design community. And there is no better place to do that than on LinkedIn.
Over the past year I’ve:
All from spending less than an hour a day growing my LinkedIn audience.
In this 60-minute video course, I’ll show you the strategies I used to do all this and how you can do it too. Growing my presence on LinkedIn has been the best thing I’ve done for my design career, and I encourage you to do the same.
This course is for designers who want to expand their professional presence on LinkedIn and are new to social media as a way to market themselves. The strategies I’ll share can be applied at any stage of your career.

I’m an independent industrial designer based in San Francisco, with over a decade of experience designing award-winning technology products in both consumer and enterprise hardware.
I was previously a Partner at Bould Design, the studio behind iconic designs such as the Nest Thermostat, Roku streaming devices, and GoPro cameras. I led work for clients both large and small, and shipped dozens of products with the team there.
I love simple, elegant, functional design. I believe that the thoughtful application of technology paired with well considered user experiences can meaningfully improve people’s lives. I write regularly about design on LinkedIn and my blog, Design Things.
