Caroline Kjellberg is a Danish freelance motion designer and 2D animator with a passion for mixed media cel animation, rotoscoping and quirky character design. Being a globetrotter and having lived, studied and worked in 5 different corners of the world (this far), she has found a lot of inspiration for her storytelling and visual style through other cultures, but a lot of it also comes from her 500+ DVD collection, street art, 80’s music videos, mamma earth and colourful candy stores.
She has worked as a freelancer since summer 2018 with brands such as Visit California, Adobe, Calvin Klein, Beats by Dre, UNIQLO, Save the Children and Carlsberg, and projects varies from company explainers, to music videos, gifs, teasers, family portraits and concert visuals. During the almost 2 years she lived in Bali, she started working with hotels, cafes and restaurants along with travel photographers and bloggers creating social media content for them through stop motion, logo animations, website assets, stickers, filters and mixed media animation to push the boundaries for todays online marketing and content creation through new and unique measures.
As a devotee and true fan of this fine Earth, she is always open to collaborate with people across borders and cultures – especially on projects that benefit the well being of people and our planet – and she is indeed extremely excited to be working with a platform like Domestika and for the opportunity to connect with creatives from all over the globe meanwhile teaching and learning.
You can follow her journey and playful universe on her Instagram or TikTok (@caroline.kjellberg), where she posts work, personal projects and small tutorials regularly.
